  I have purchased parts and adapter cables from Chesapeake in the past and have had good experiences with them so, when my Mac stopped working, I decided to take it to them for service. I dropped my computer off and was told that the turnaround time was about a week. Not hearing anything after 12 days, I called but the recorded message said that the service department didn't take incoming calls. I tried the repair status checker on their website, but it just kept reloading, so I drove over to check on the status. It turned out that they had not even looked at my computer and I was told that they would look at it tomorrow. The receptionist was very nonchalant and her only explanation was "We've been busy". After I got back out to my car, I wondered how long I would have waited to hear from them if I hadn't stopped in and I decided to just go back in, get the computer and take it elsewhere. The only positive thing about the experience was that my deposit was cheerfully refunded. I won't be going back.
